The State Bank of India invited applications for SBI CBO (SBI Circle Based Officer) from eligible candidates. The SBI selection process consist of 3 main Phases (i) Online Examination (ii) Screening and (iii) Interview. The details of the SBI CBO 2023 are looked at in this article.

SBI CBO 2023 Eligibility Criteria
i.Academic:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate.
Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant,
Cost Accountant would also be eligible.
ii.SBI CBO 2023 Age Limit
Age Limit: (As on 31.10.2023): Between 21 and 30 years as on 31.10.2023 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 31.10.2002 and not earlier than 01.11.1993 (both days inclusive).
ii.1.Relaxation in Upper age limit:

iii.Experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification) as on 31.10.2023:
Experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or a Regional Rural Bank included in the Reserve Bank of India’s Second Schedule for at least two years (post-essential academic qualification) as of October 31, 2023
iv.Candidates must speak the specified local languages of that circle with ease. Before candidates who have been provisionally selected join the bank, a proficiency test will be assigned based on their performance in the online exam, screening, and interview. The applicant will not need to take the test if they can provide their 12th standard mark sheet showing that they passed that language course.
Pre-Examination Training: Bank will arrange pre-examination training (PET) in online mode for SC/ ST/ OBC/Religious Minority Community candidates in consonance with the guidelines issued by Government of India. All eligible candidates who like to participate in Training should fill in the relevant column in the on-line application.
SBI CBO 2023 selection Process
Selection Process: The selection for SBI CBO 2023 will be done through a three-Phase process:
Phase-I: Online Examination: January 2024
Phase-II: Screening
Phase-III: The Interview
SBI CBO 2023 Online Exam
Online Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 120 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 2-hour duration consisting of 4 Sections as follows:
(1). Online Test: consist of Objective Tests for 120 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks.
i.The Objective Test: 120 marks
The duration of objective test is 2 hours. There are 4 Sections, namely English Language, Banking Knowledge, General Awareness /Economy and Computer aptitude and carries total 120 marks.

ii.The descriptive Test: 50 marks
The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer

2.Screening
Online application and documents of candidates, who qualified in online examination, will be
placed before the Screening Committee
3.Interview
Interview will consist of 50 marks. Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in interview to be considered for final selection.

SBI Circle Based Officer 2023 Salary
A Clerical Cadre employee’s total beginning salary, which includes D.A., will be approximately Rs. 36,000-63,840 per month

Selection Process
SBI CBO Final Selection:
Candidates have to qualify both in Online Test and Interview separately. The marks obtained in Online Test, both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Interview for preparing the final merit list.
Final merit list would be prepared based on normalization of marks scored in Online Test and Interview with 75:25 weightage respectively.
There will be no penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests
