RBI Assistant Eligibility

Nationality: a candidate must be either

A citizen of India, a subject of Nepal,  a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 and permanently settled  in India,

A Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam and permanently settling in India.

 

RBI Assistant Educational Qualification (as on 01‐09‐2023):

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks and the knowledge of word processing on PC. For SC/ST/PwBD candidates there is no restriction on percentage of marks.

Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and must have at least 15 years of experience in defence service.

Proficient in the local language of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting Office.

Selection will be through Preliminary examination, Main examination and Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

i. Preliminary Examination (Multiple Choice):

iii. Language Proficiency Test (LPT) :

The candidates selected from the main on-line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language/s of the State concerned

There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests (Preliminary and Main).1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Age must be Between 20 and 28 years.

Candidates born not earlier than 02/09/1995 and not later than 01/09/2003 (both days inclusive)

Initial Monthly Gross gross salary  (without HRA) : ₹47,849/-.+HRA
